Crazed and Confused / Strange Bedfellows S22E22 - Crazed and Confused / Strange Bedfellows 1999

Crazed and Confused 'Babble Balls' were all the rage- until Angela had enough money buy one. As she proudly shows off her new toy, Nanette informs her that 'Babble Balls' are passé, and 'Bug Thugs' are now "da bomb". Denying her desire to obtain a 'Bug Thug', even to her best friend Gina Lash, Angela scrapes together every cent she can, and heads off to the toy store to buy one. But when she arrives, she discovers that Nanette has bought every last 'Bug Thug' in town, and Angela must resort to trickery to try and get her hands on one of the toys so that she too can join the illustrious Bug Thug Club. When her efforts are futile, Angela imagines that she is a super hero, and crashes a 'Bug Thug Club' gathering saving all from the Evil Nincom-pupae and her Bug Thug reign! In the end, Nanette neglects her 'Bug Thug' announcing that Rainblow Sparkle Gum is now 'in' as she blows a giant bubble that bursts into a sticky mess all over her face! Strange Bedfellows Grandma Lou arrives at the Anaconda's for a surprise visit, and Angela goes to great lengths to ensure they get to room together. Angela looks forward to hearing the tales Grandma Lou loves to tell about her days in the swamp. Even Angela's friends find Grandma Lou and her stories enthralling, but they don't have to live with her! Eventually Angela finds that her stories are boring, Grandma Lou has taken to snoring, and Angela winds up face to face with Grandma Lou's detachable leg. Angela's dream roommate turns out to be a nightmare. She attempts to have Grandma Lou moved to another room but Baby LuLu's illness thwarts that idea. Just as Angela's patience sinks to its lowest levels, Grandma Lou announces she is going back to the swamps where she belongs. Angela knows she will miss her Grandma dearly but that absence will only make the heart grow fonder.
