Five friends set out for a weekend of leisure and games on an island in the Delta. The wild vegetation, murky river water, and a vast, cold house create the perfect setting to warm their bodies with a game of Kabaddi—an ancient sport based on understanding and trust among teammates, values deeply rooted in Argentina’s middle class. At least, as long as they’re winning. Once stranded on the island due to a boat strike, the wild, murky, and cold landscape triggers unresolved tensions, dragging the friends into a bitter game of prejudice and intolerance that will expose their true thoughts—and perhaps some of our own.
